Welcome to the Sea of Echoes

So much has happened in the last few weeks its kind of hard to keep track.  Anne and I had an awesome wedding at Mount Tam surrounded by family and friends, followed by a dinner party for close friends and a larger lunch party down in Palo Alto.  We had awesome food, a great band, and good company.  My only regret was not having enough time to spend with everyone, especially those that came from so far away.  It was also nice to be able to announce the future arrival of our new baby. 

After that started a new job at Google.  Things there are a little chaotic as the company has a reputation for.  I’m having a hard time lining up exactly what I’m going to be working on though - all the little nuggets that seem to be lying around dont seem challenging enough.

Through all of this though, I’m happy to say we’ve completed recording five songs for our album and are ready to move ahead rehearsing for gigs.  The music turned out way better than I expected - it’s tempting to try to push this thread a little further.

To fall in love is easy, even to remain in it is not difficult; our human loneliness is cause enough.

But it is a hard quest worth making to find a comrade through whose steady presence one becomes steadily the person one desires to be.
